Who buys a jigsaw for NZ$1000.  Obviously people do or Danese wouldn’t make 300 numbered sets of these each year.  The Sedici Animal Puzzle by Enzo Mari is totally cool, and thank the lord you can also use them as toy figures.  That’s two things, but I have some more ideas, so breaking the ‘jigsaw buying’ budget makes sense.   Use them…as door stops….to paint on a rainy day….paperweight…for learning to count (there’s sixteen)….for your child to learn to recognize animal shapes, and well that’s about all I can think of.  They also do a groovy sea creature version as well.  You can buy them online here and here for US$600 (cough)!
