Cathy shared with the Poppytalk crowd a while back, her encaustic process and it’s time I showed it to you folks.  As soon as I saw the finished product of the bride and groom floating, it reminded me of the exhibition I was lucky enough to see while in Paris, of Chagall.  Her panels and prints are whimsical and colourful….it’s like you are looking at a whole fairytale or the front page of a great book.  To purchase her pieces, go to her Etsy store or Poppytalk Handmade.  You’ll find it hard to choose which one to buy.

I just had the pleasure of meeting Cathy this weekend at a craft fair in Huntington, NY. She’s a lovely woman and her work is amazing! :)

What a lovely post to find today. I wish I had seen this a few years ago to express my gratitude for sharing my work, but, as my mom always says, it’s never to late to say thank you! And I love your site!
