I like camping and I like kayaking so this ticks all the boxes.   Best of all, the seat sits high so you don’t sit in water (at last!) and it’s foldable and detachable.

It is inspired by the old Polynesian outrigger canoes, and was designed for outdoor enthusiasts.  The main drive of the Kahuna is the Mirage Drive, a pedal/crank mechanism of Hobie Kayaks.  It is efficient and easy to master and your paddle assists in maneuvering the boat.  For camping, a screen cloth is mounted between the outriggers to serve as a base for the tent and as a camp bed.  This gives you a comfortable sleep above the ground, making it possible to sleep anywhere where the ground you’ve arrived on is not suitable for camping upon.

The boat is made of natural fibre composite materials, which are lighter and cheaper than fibreglass and with the right resin can even be biodegradable, when reduced to small pieces.

The designer behind this cool boat is Mario Weiss, it was his BA thesis project!  Get the info on it here.  I don’t know when or if it’s available but will keep you posted.  I don’t have many things on my wish list but this has been added.
