I love the shape of the Ipod Gramophone.  Made of ceramic to replicate the curvature and passive amplification of a French horn, it amplifies sound from your iPod without requiring auxiliary power or speaker components. Just place your earbuds on the gramophones cradle and music channels through the coiled tube and resonates out of the flared bell, resulting in warm, amplified sound up to 55 decibels (near the sound level of laptop computer speakers). It’s compatible with all Ipod models and is the size of a desk lamp. Here’s the kicker though – at US$499, I think it’s steep for something only as loud as your laptop. So let’s just look at the picture.
