Wow, I came across these while my nearly four was having a ride on Thomas the Tank Engine outside the store.  Another artist whose illustrations of long, lanky people in swirls of lovely colour make me oooo and aaaah.  Not only does Crispin Korschen do larger paintings, but now her pieces are printed onto pint size blocks that we can all afford for a wall or dresser.  Her smaller pieces or ‘art blocks’ are available to purchase through Barking Mad online, and through shops in New Zealand, London and Sydney – for stockists click here.  To share her delightful illustrations, what better way than with her cards.  To view the larger paintings in person, they are in selected galleries throughout New Zealand.   These remind me a little of my favourite illustrator I wrote about in an earlier post.
