My Dad loves working with wood, so I am always on the lookout for things to email him for inspiration. These two are my super fave at present.  I could imagine all my bits and pieces in all those drawers, while the chair would be pride of place in front of my white Ikea desk.  The Decades Chest of Drawers by Wis Design, was made from rescued drawers, collected at flea markets and enhanced by a new frame in MDF. The Squarelawn chair designed by Maarten Baas plays with the idea of high and low status – the ubiquitous cheap white garden version has never been on my wish list, but this hand carved wooden version is.  Dad is going to be so busy!
