Oh my….I have always wanted to be able to surf, and these make me pine even more to ride with the tide. Grain Surfboards in Maine make wooden boards, offering a much “greener” alternative to foam core boards, mostly due to their beauty and durability, they are unlikely to end up in a landfill.  They offer over eight different surfboard options and even a Home Grown DIY kit.  The best news is that you can now get the Home Grown kits down under in New South Wales, Australia.  Capeboatworks are producing all of the kits in their shop using local farm grown Paulownia.
